Careers and the Four Faces

We each have a face, which we see each time we look in the mirror. But we also have a spiritual face, that we cannot see. It is the face of the soul. To be more specific, we actually have four spiritual faces: One in the front of our head (where our eyes and nose are), one in the back of our head, facing behind us, and one on each side, where our ears are. This means that our soul can “see” in four different directions at once.

Just like there are only certain eye colors, there are only four faces: Human, Ox, Lion, Eagle. We learned this from the sage Jeremiah who saw the living creatures in heaven. These living creatures each have these faces and we are patterned after them. The difference, is that we have our spiritual faces in various configurations. For example, some have the Ox face in the front, whereas others have the Eagle. Since we can’t see our spiritual faces, this has nothing to do with one’s physical appearance. But the order of our four faces is actually what others call our personality, our nature or our character.

Once we know the order of our four faces, we can use this information in many ways. For example it can help to find a career, to find a spouse and even to find a satisfying life. For example, your face order might be: Eagle, Lion, Human, Ox.

Careers that Align with the Four Faces

Each face happens to have some preferred career choices. I suggest you consider two or three, which should refer to your first two or three faces. Having some preparation for more than one career option means you can have a back-up plan if something should happen at some point in life.

Finding Your Face Order

If you don’t already know your face order, here is an article called Pool Party. It’s a quick five minute read and it will help you to figure it out. If you have ever used the Myers-Brigs Temperament, you might be able to figure it out that way too. For example if your MBTI is ESTJ, then your face order would be Ox (SJ), Eagle (NT), Lion (SP) and Human (NF).
