The Moon is a beautiful symbol of redeemed human beings. Firstly, it produces no light itself, but only reflects the light from the Sun. It looks brightest in the midst of darkness. During the day (when there’s light), it is not even visible. And how fascinating that in the English language, we have these two homophones: Sun and Son.
It’s hard to imagine the sun without the moon,
Cause anything that’s bright in me’s only bouncing off of you.
If I shine, it’s because of you.
If I love, it’s because of you.
If I’m strong, it’s because of you.
It’s all because of you.
